Sauna Booking Information

Use this booking link so you have the space to yourself. We will have the sauna heated up for you:

Tips:

  • Lighting: For the best experience, we recommend turning off the room lights but keeping the sauna lights on. You can choose from a variety of lighting colors inside the sauna.

  • Music: Bluetooth speakers are available. Connect your phone to enjoy your own music during your session.

  • Water for the Rocks: There is a ladle and bucket inside the sauna. Feel free to sprinkle a small amount of water on the rocks to create steam and increase the humidity.

  • Session Length: The sauna timer runs for about one hour. If you stay longer, simply restart the timer.

  • Recommended Sauna Protocols:

    • Standard Routine: 20 minutes at 194°F is a common recommended dose for regular sauna use.

    • Extended Growth Hormone Protocol (discussed by Dr. Rhonda Patrick):

      • 20 minutes in the sauna

      • 10 minutes out (cool down)

      • 20 minutes back in

This protocol has been shown to help stimulate growth hormone release, especially after strength training.

  • After-Hours Access: If you book a session outside normal clinic hours, you’ll receive an access code with your booking confirmation. Use the basement entrance to enter the building.

  • What to Bring: Please bring your own towels and water bottles. There is a sink available inside the sauna room.

  • Cleaning Up: After your session, please wipe down the sauna bench with your towel.

  • Fees/Donations: There is no formal charge to use the sauna or gym at this time. A suggestion box, which also serves as a donation box, is located in the gym. We welcome your feedback and any contributions! Both the gym and the sauna space is a work in progress.

  • Guests: Feel free to bring a friend! The sauna comfortably fits three people, with a maximum of four.

More information:

  • Type of Sauna: This is a traditional Finnish sauna, not an infrared sauna. It uses high heat, reaching up to 194°F. Traditional saunas have been heavily studied and are linked to a variety of health benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, muscle recovery, and overall longevity. We intentionally chose this style based on the strongest available research — and because, personally, we believe nothing beats a true sauna experience.

  • Private Space: When you book a sauna or gym session, you are reserving the entire space for yourself. This ensures a private, relaxed environment whether you’re using the sauna, the gym, or both.

  • Bathroom Access: The restroom is located upstairs.
